The paintings are printed on thick cartridge paper and mounted to card with wood glue. They are covered with a HD sellotape to preserve the ink. I have painted the edges of the canvases to match the paintings, before treating them with a coat of wood glue to emulate the texture of old varnish. They are then finished with matt acrylic varnish. (I hope in time the layers will yellow - if this happens and is undesirable, you will be able to peel it off and apply your own varnish without damage to the painting.)

Varnish is far from indestructible. Please treat them with common sense - don’t scratch, wet, or rub them, keep them out of direct sunlight, don’t expose them to excessive warmth. If you lean them with other pictures or pieces, be careful of sharp edges or points, move them every now and then, and store them separately in hot weather to prevent them sticking. All paintings used are public domain; I have edited them in various ways so they translate to miniature.
