Running Hare Pastry Press

Wood effect pastry presses in seasonal designs. They are traditionally used to make pie crusts, shortbread plates, or shaped biscuits.

I created the designs in polymer clay and made moulds until they could be transferred to air dry clay. They were cut, dried, strengthened with wood glue, carved to resemble wood grain, and stained with wood stain before being polished with beeswax. Each stamp is individually made and will differ slightly from the example photographed. I would not recommend they be used to press clay or food.
